Whether you want to rent a whole building for a family gathering, a school trip or a Duke of Edinburgh group or enjoy a group adrenaline pumping break in the lake distrcit then it’s all on our doorstep.

You can hire the whole of Kirkby Stephen Hostel for any large gathering. The building sleeps up to 38 people with everything needed to cook and sleep a big group; a kitchen, lock up bike shed, drying room, free Wi-Fi and we are situated literally on the main street of Kirkby Stephen.

The kitchen has a electric oven and microwave, fridge with freezer and kettle. The dining room has ample seating for eating . There is a fully equipped bathroom and we have the following rooms:

- 6 Bed Dorm Room
- 1 Twin Room En Suite
- 1 Twin Room 
- 2 x 4 Bed Rooms
- 2 x 6 Bed Rooms

Local activities include: walking, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, swimming, tennis and much more.

We have many delighted groups who have hired the whole hostel, from schools, colleges and universities on field trips. Families have used it for Christmas breaks, whilst youth and adult sports clubs have also stayed. All are welcome at Kirkby Stephen Hostel.
