Spend a weekend up a Kirkby Stephen Hostel in the build up to Christmas with moonlight walks and sledging. Evening meals and breakfasts are provided on both nights as well as festive treats such as mulled wine and mince pies to really get in the spirit!

Friday Night

  • Arrive between 3 oclock and 5 oclock where you will be shown to your room then return down stairs to join us for a glass of mulled wine and mince pies.
  • Once everyone has arrived and settled in we will be seated for a delightful 2
    course evening meal.
  • For those who aren’t to full up from the beautiful meal we will taking them on a
    guided moonlight walk where we would stop off and do a spot of star gazing and
    for those who would want to stop off at our local pub are more than welcome.
  • Arrive back at the hostel for a cup of hot coco before bed.

Saturday Night

  • Full English breakfast served between 8 and 9, but a continental breakfast will
    also be available.
  • The morning to walk around the town and look at our local shops and cafes
  • Re gather at 1 pm for a light buffet lunch
  • There will then be chance for an activity afternoon. Including walking, biking
    and providing the weather maybe sledging. Walks can be guided with an extra
    additional cost.
  • Arrive back at the hostel for a chilled and relaxing evening, starting with a 3
    course evening meal, followed by some entertainment. We also have a pack of
    cards and plenty of games to play. There will also be a Christmas quiz provided
    by us with little prizes for the winners.
  • For the people with children there will be other activities available like making
    there own Christmas decorations and decorating homemade Christmas biscuits, there will also be indoor and outdoor treasure hunts.

Sunday day

  • Cooked and continental breakfasts served between 8.30 and 9.30 before
    departure.
